A redeemed, diverse people sent
to make Jesus known in Charlotte.
Why we're planting The Hill.
Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing and most diverse cities in America, yet so many who arrive searching for meaning, stability, and satisfaction never find the abundant life only found in Christ. We believe God is calling us to plant a biblically faithful, gospel-centered church that points our neighbors to the real Jesus.
The heart behind The Hill.
The Hill Church is sent like Jesus to make disciples and plant churches.
To be a redeemed, diverse people who know and make known the real Jesus, inviting all to follow Him.
Six values we won't compromise on.
-
Biblical Authority
We submit our lives to God's authoritative word and joyfully follow all He has revealed.
-
Gospel Centrality
The gospel is the most glorious news in the world, and it stays at the center of everything we do.
-
Joyful Worship
We bow our whole lives to Christ with great joy in response to all He has done for us.
-
Diverse Community
Charlotte is multi-ethnic and multi-generational, and we long to reflect that as one family in Christ.
-
Glorious Mission
Jesus sends His people to declare and demonstrate the good news wherever He places us.
-
Dependent Prayer
We depend fully on the Holy Spirit and seek God continually in prayer.
A people who gather, scatter, and are sent.

Meet the pastors.
David Keen
Our gracious God radically saved David as a teenager and called him to preach the gospel not long after. Since then, God has used him to serve as a pastor in the local church over the last 22 years. David's aim is to be faithful to King Jesus in all things and be used by Him to see more disciples made and churches planted in Charlotte and beyond. David enjoys good food, good drink, good conversation, music, sports, working out, reading, and being outside delighting in God's creation. Outside of salvation, his beautiful wife Jordan and his children Lucy James, Gideon Battle, Abraham Brave, Judah Beacon, and Brookelyn Joy are his most cherished gifts from God.

Ramone Bellagamba
Ramone carries a deep passion for seeing lives changed through the power of God's Word and the beauty of authentic Christian community. His ministry is marked by a commitment to faithful biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and cultivating a church culture that is both theologically rich and missionally-engaged. He longs to see people grow in their knowledge of God, walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, and live sent into their neighborhoods and workplaces, through equipping that connects deep biblical truth with everyday life. Ramone is married to his wife, Chrissy, and together they are raising their four children: Taylor, Shane, Jude, and Chloe.
